The LEaD TogetHer program is an innovative series of face-to-face development sessions and online learning modules that will increase knowledge, foster collaboration, enhance leadership exposure and provide networking and wellness opportunities to enrich the professional experiences of all participants.
The program will run for 12 months from July 2021, and aims to develop women at all levels across our organisation, which will support Downer’s strategic objective of increasing female participation in management roles.
The pilot program was initially only open to employees in Sydney and Melbourne. However, due to enormous interest and high demand, the program has been expanded to include Brisbane, Perth and ACT as well.
“We will evaluate the progress of the program in October 2021 and then expand the scope of the pilot,” Downer’s Group Head of Human Resources and Industrial Relations, Steve Schofield, said.
“The program is being run in conjunction with New Zealand’s Women in Leadership at Downer (WILD) program and we plan to review the benefits of both programs and share the learnings.”
As the leading provider of integrated services in Australia and New Zealand, Downer is a people business.
